General Conditions, Information and Contract
RATES: Published prices for air and land are based on rates and tariffs in effect on January 1, 2005. Dream Voyages reserves the right to adjust prices and information on rates, facilities, taxes, service charges and other charges without notice. Dream Voyages does not assume any responsibility for any errors or omissions in the contents of this pricing guide or any of its promotional material.
PAYMENT: Forwarding of participants deposit or any payment indicates participants agreement with and acceptance of all terms and conditions herein listed. A deposit of $400 per person or three (3) nights hotel accommodations, whichever is greater, is due within seven (7) days of the booking to secure reservations. A reservation confirmation and invoice will be mailed on receipt of deposit. Final payment is due at least 45 days prior to original departure. After deposit, all revisions are subject to a $25 charge. No changes will be accepted within two (2) weeks of departure. Last minute bookings, within 21 days of departure, will be accepted on a guaranteed payment basis only, and a $25 fee will be assessed to cover operator’s additional expenses.
CANCELLATION: All cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing to Dream Voyages. A fee of $25 per person will be assessed for cancellations received 45 days or more prior to departure. A fee of $50 per person will be assessed for cancellations received 45 days or less prior to departure plus any additional fees or charges levied against the operator by his suppliers such as hotels and airlines. Once a tour begins, any portion of the trip not used becomes non-refundable.
DOCUMENTS: Travel documents will be mailed two (2) weeks prior to original departure. Express mail or overnight shipping charges due to late payment or booking are the responsibility of the travel agent and/or the passenger.
PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP: Tour participants are responsible for determining and obtaining proper documentation and identification. Failure to carry and present proper proof of citizenship may result in denied entry to a foreign country or boarding of aircraft. No refunds will be made in these circumstances. All visitors to foreign countries must have proof of return or forwarding transportation.
INSURANCE: Dream Voyages strongly recommends the purchase of trip cancellation insurance to protect travelers against any cancellation charges and assessments. Trip cancellation, health, accident and baggage insurance is inexpensive and readily available and should always be considered.
RESPONSIBILITY: Dream Voyages, 72 Charles Court, Southborough, MA 01772, a division of Dream Destinations, Inc. and/or its associated companies, agents and representatives, act only as agents for the owners and operators of transportation, hotels, services and facilities. Therefore, they are not to be held responsible for any losses, damages or additional expenses caused by delay or other changes in transportation or by sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine or other causes. Dream Voyages assumes no liability for theft, bodily harm, illness or death of any passenger. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time the passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. The passage contracts in use by the airlines when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and the passenger. Fares and schedules are subject to change without notice.. The payment of the required deposit or any partial or full payment for a reservation constitutes consent to all provisions of the conditions, general information and contract terms contained in this brochure.
